In May 2022, the Blue Bird Charity Foundation received two Volkswagen T4 cars from the Kyiv-Sofia Rotary Club, Caritas-Sokal, and the Ukrainian Center in Salzburg.

One of the cars was immediately donated by the Blue Bird to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, specifically to a military unit in Chernihiv Oblast. According to the unit’s leader, Major Ivan Feskov, – “the car will be used to provide humanitarian aid to residents of border regions neighboring with the aggressor country and to carry out combat missions.”

The Blue Bird Charity Foundation will use the second car, received from their Austrian partners, to transport future humanitarian aid to affected populations. The foundation expressed their sincere gratitude to their charitable friends. As volunteer Galina Pernykosa of the Blue Bird Foundation noted, – “doing good with a car will be a little easier…”
