The charitable organization the “Charitable Foundation Blue Bird” was established by a group of like-minded people in 2015 in Odessa. The Foundation is working in Ukraine to build an open society where everyone feels dignified, where citizens have equal non-discriminatory access to health care, medical information, technology and practices to improve lives. We are working to build Ukraine in which the human right to health is well protected and positive changes work for the benefit of citizens.
In our day-to-day work, we rely on the World Health Organization definition of “health” as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”
In 2021, the Foundation expanded its activities and opened the office in Kyiv.
